When you login to the application, you confirm your identity easily and quickly, with the use of your biometric data. With just one glance or touch, and without using your MyEdenred® credentials, you get instant access.

At the same time, you further secure your account by registering and authenticating your phone number, as it is linked to your account and not only to the device.

Whether you already have a MyEdenred® account or are to create one, you will have completed the process in less than 1 minute, by initially entering and verifying your phone number, and then by setting a four-digit personal security code as well as your biometric data (fingerprint and/or face recognition depending on what your device supports). From that moment on, every time you are to use the MyEdenred®, you'll enjoy a frictionless, fast and safe journey!

Follow the steps below to set up your biometrics
in less than 1 minute:

Download MyEdenred® app and create your account. If you already have an account, you need to simply login.

Upon the 1st login to the app, after entering the MyEdenred® credentials, you will be asked to register your phone number , which will then verify by entering the unique code you will receive in an SMS.

Then, you are to set a 4-digit security code (app security code) and depending on what your device supports, you will be asked to set your biometric data.

By registering and authenticating their phone number, users secure their MyEdenred® account even more, as this number is binding to their account and not only to their device. Detailed app terms of use here, as well as the privacy policy here.

The phone number can be registered in the MyEdenred app either during the 1st user login, or later through their user profile. In the event that an Edenred cardholder does not have the application and does not want to download it, she/he can register a phone number through Edenred's customer service, by calling 210 2117030.

 

App security code is a 4-digit code for securing users’ MyEdenred® account as this code is binding to the MyEdenred® account/app and not to the device. Each user will need this code to unlock their app and more. Note: this is not the PIN code for paying with at a merchant’s store.

When a user is prompted to the app to set up their app security code and biometrics, they are to follow the steps below:

  • Choose a 4-digit app security code. They will need this code to unlock your app, secure online transactions and more.
  • Confirm the app security code by typing it again.
  • If their device supports biometrics (face or fingerprint recognition), they can choose to use this method instead of the app security code (Note: your app security code may be asked in the future if biometrics fail).
  • Enjoy a secured account.

Visit MyEdenred® app and follow the below steps:

  • Access the app settings section from the bottom menu and select ‘My profile’
  • Select ‘Secure the app with biometrics’
  • Authenticate the action by typing your app security code.
  • You’re done.

If you don’t remember your app security code, you can easily change it via the app by following the steps below:

  • After adding 3 wrong app security codes consecutively, your app gets blocked, and you are prompted to unblock it. Note, if you have linked your MyEdenred account to more than 1 devices, you will have to complete the unblocking process from the same device that you blocked your account.
  • Tap on the ‘Unblock’ button and connect with your credentials (username and password).
  • Add the unblock code that you received in the email address linked to your MyEdenred® account and tap on the ‘Confirm’ button
  • Choose a new 4-digit app security code and confirm it by typing it again.
  • You’re done.

If someone else attempted to connect to your account, your app will be blocked in order to protect your data and money. You can unblock your app by following those easy steps:

  • Visit MyEdenred® app, tap on “Unblock” button & connect with your credentials (username & password).
  • Add the unblock code that you received in the email address linked to your MyEdenred® account and tap on the ‘Confirm’ button
  • Choose a new 4-digit app security code and confirm it by typing it again.
  • You’re done.

Please be noted that if you block your app in a device ‘A’, you will need to follow the unblock process from the same device ‘A’. Otherwise, you will have to contact our Customer Service to erase all associated devices from your account and allow you to start the SCA onboarding .
